We spent three days in Venice, mostly walking around the city, but also visiting the San Marco cathedral. From there we took the train to Florence and stayed there for five days, including day trips to Pisa and Siena. Then to Rome for six days, with a day trip to Tivoli.

In Greece, we spent three days on Santorini, exploring Oia and Fira, and with a tour to the volcano. We took the fast catamaran to Mykonos, where we did two scuba dives, seeing an octopus on the first dive, and going down to 17m on the second. Another catamaran to Athens where we saw the Acropolis before flying home.
