We drove up the Duffy Lake road, camping along the river in various forestry campsites, and drove up through Lillooet and as far as the old mine at Bralorne, camping by Carpenter Lake.

Getting to Joffre Lakes involves a fairly steep 6km hike up into subalpine, but the lakes are well worth the climb. Glaciers overhang the upper lake, so even though it was summer, we were able to have a snowball fight!
