With three weeks to see Scotland and England, we kept pretty
much on the move. We flew to Glasgow, spent a few days in Edinburgh and visited
Stirling, before heading south by train to England. There were torrential rain
storms and flooding, but other than ruining a camera, the weather didn't slow
us at all.
We saw Hadrian's Wall near Carlisle, York and Exeter, and finished
with a week in London, seeing as many of its highlights as we could, including
Kew Gardens, Windsor Castle, British Museum (twice), and a few shops
and pubs.
